Dreams: Men vs. Women

Do you ever wonder what the opposite sex is dreaming of? Can they dream what you are dreaming?

Welsh dream expert Dr. Mark Blagrove, from Swansea University,  has studied the dream experiences of 100,000 people in a worldwide survey.

He discovered that married couples, whom sleep side by side, have very different dreams frequently at the same time. The research shows:

Women’s dreams:

  • are progressively about work
  • have more emotion
  • are more likely to last longer
  • are more often about the home
  • include more characters (mainly family)

Men’s dreams:

  • include more strangers
  • are more often about violence and cars
  • focus on sex with unknown partners
  • are frequently about work and financial security

This video shows an accumulation of dreams by men and women. Check out the differences!

Dreaming allows people to go on journeys that either have not happened before or that relate back to a particular memory. The dream world is infamous, and your mind can paint anything!

“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.”

-Albert Einstein
